What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants securely connect to external tools. OwlKonnect runs a native MCP server, so an assistant can manage your social media directly.
How do I connect OwlKonnect to Claude or ChatGPT?
Add the server URL https://mcp.owlkonnect.com/mcp as a connector. You sign in to OwlKonnect once and click Allow — no API key to copy. (A personal API key also works if you prefer.)
Which AI assistants work with it?
Any MCP-compatible client — including Claude (Desktop and claude.ai connectors), and other assistants and agent frameworks that support MCP.
Is it secure?
Yes. Connecting uses OAuth, and the access it grants is a revocable API key you can remove any time in Settings → Developer. All actions are scoped to your workspace.
What can the assistant actually do?
Draft, schedule and publish posts, list your brands and channels, attach media, manage the queue, and read your analytics — the same things the REST API can do.
